Why must real life be so.. intrusive??

And why must it be such a party-pooper?  You'd think that life would be excited about *fun* things.  But nooooo... it's all focused on work, and nasty colds, and other boring, annoying things.

I haven't forgotten any of you, my dear readers- I've been thinking about each of you ever so much.  Sadly, I haven't been able to be here nearly as much as I'd like.  However, things appear to be calming down over in my little corner of the world, and I plan to be back in the saddle, so to speak, with regular updates.  Promise.  And you can punish me as you wish if I don't deliver.  ;)

Before I (briefly) scamper off to put a few finishing touches on real-world annoyances, I would like to say hello and welcome to all my new visitors.. feel free to jump in on any post, add comments, suggestions- whatever!
